Going Live

post icon

I’ve decided that today I will take this blog live. Praises to God on this Sunday for insipiring me to get deeper in my faith and publicly explore what it means (to me) to be a Christian. It is my intention to blog at least once a week but probably more. I have been a regular blogger for the past several years. I have a personal blog (private, a professional blog EFL Geek, and a (group) language learning blog Let’s Learn korean.

In the next few weeks I’ll be adding my testimony and a about me page. I’ve already set up a side-blog for prayer requests and when I get a little more time I’ll add the ability to comment on the prayer requests. Currently they display on the sidebar where they will expire after they have been answered or are no longer relevant. If you register - link on the sidebar, then when you comment your comment will have an avatar and signature if you choose to fill those out.

I’ve already set up RSS feeds for entries and comments and may set up RSS for prayer requests, but that is a low priority for me. There are still a few things to do as can be seen in the previous entry. The biggest of those is the problem I have with my sidebar in IE - any CSS gurus out there who have advice, it will be much appreciated.

Looking forward to sharing my journey with anyone who happens to drop by and read.

lastly I would like to thank God for the safe and pleasurable trip myself and the family had this weekend. I will post a few pictures tomorrow. If you’ve never been to South Korea, you may find them interesting.

going away

post icon

Going away for the weekend and will not have internet access so will be unable to finish blog design until Sunday night or Monday. Look for real blogging to begin from that time.

Prayer Request

The guy at my church

There’s a guy at my church who has it in for me. The pastor has talked to me and warned me about his unstable personality and to do my best to avoid him. My prayer is that nothing bad happens to me or my family and also that this person can be healed and overcome his issues.

Being a Good Father

I would like wisdom and guidance on how to be a better father to my children.
